Project 3 - Professional Design

October 22, 2021 (Week4)
-

For this final project, it was to finally accumulate all the designs and plannings from projects 1 to 2 to put into a fully up and running website. Which means coding has commenced.

From the previous project of projects 1 to 2, I just redesigned my digitized sketch into Dreamweaver.

After adding the code lines into a dream weaver to design the structure of the website, I styled the website pages according to the sketches I had designed before in the previous projects. It took a while to understand each and every code line that would make up the website, but it was definitely an interesting challenge to take up.

Final website display:

I worked on a total of 5 pages along with a footer and a navigation bar on all the pages that display the whole entire website.

Reflection

November 27th, 2021

Throughout the 14 weeks of learning the importance and principles of a good website design, it was still quite frustrating at times to figure out how to design a website. It honestly took me a while to understand what kind of code I had to type in to make it show up on the web, but with a little bit of reference from the recorded lecture and my own research and reference I was able to do what I could to at least structure a website.

I was actually quite proud that I managed to figure it out in the end, it may not be perfect on certain alignments, but it was the best of what I could and I can definitely take that to pride because I understand that coding and designing a website from scratch can be very challenging especially for me. Who had no knowledge of it before whatsoever? Will I be continuing this particular activity? maybe not. But it was still interesting to know the meanings of it.
