Lectures

Week 7 Lecture:

Since this week was the start of submitting our critical review, Dr. Hayati indulged and gave a brief explanation on starting our 3rd assignment for this subject. Regarding primary data that the students would have to embark on their own findings with other professions through the week, there is a helpful guided lecture to determine how we will carry out this assignment.

Since it was independent learning week and classes were not held during the week, I was unsure of what needed to be prepared for the following week, I decided on looking through a few of the seniors' works and how they started off their way to these assignments. 

Most of them prepared a few drafts that correlate their research proposal and explored more on preparing their questions to ask professions or other students that are relevant to their research topic/problem. 

So then I decided on looking through a few of the supplementary notes provided in the subject Microsoft teams provided by Dr. Hayati and Dr. Jinchi and listened through the recorded lecture to start off this assignment.

During this week, Dr. Hayati consulted the class on our research methods and the questions we will be using for our surveys or interviews based on the research method we decide on conducting in. I still had a few difficulties when it came to the questions. 

But in the end, I decided on focusing my research method on quantitative research. I added my questions in the proposal below and waited for approval from Dr. Hayati.

From then on I started to implement my questions into google forms, to hopefully distribute it and receive enough respondents to continue into the assignment.

Finally after accumulating the data and analyzing responses from the survey, implemented the information into slides pdf form to complete the assignment.
